Untreated pineapple, sliced, without heart. Yellowish, slightly brownish, wonderfully aromatic pineapple fruit in perfect harmony of sweet and slightly sour.
Pineapple has an anti-inflammatory and slightly draining effect. A whole enzyme complex works wonders. Bromelain, for example, is said to have blood-purifying and digestive properties. Pineapple is also a real mood booster thanks to its nourishing energy.
The Guaymí have been reduced to 2% in their own country within a few hundred years and disempowered by immigration. I wish the best for the Guaymí so that one day you may once again form a society from the embers that are passed on, a society that can truly live in harmony with nature and in freedom.
In a way, we in Europe deserve the downfall of the indigenous tribes. We have allowed trading companies to destroy civilizations, some of them 1000 years old, such as the Incas, Mayas and Aztecs, within decades on behalf of the Holy See.
A phenomenon that can probably be recognized all over the world by the symbolism.
I wonder if it will stay that way. After all, there are still indigenous tribes all over the world that are preserving themselves and passing on their history and experience away from UN educational programs.
